NATIONAL MINIMUM/LIVING WAGE INCREASES FROM 1 APRIL 2019

National Minimum Wage (NMW) and National Living Wage (NLW) changes come into effect from 1 April 2019. Please note that these changes do not affect company directors.

The table below details both the current NMW along with the National Living Wage for those employees who are aged 25 and over.

*This rate is for apprentices under 19 or those in their first year. If the apprentice is 19 or over and past their first year, they will be entitled to the rate that applies to their age.
